Garden Motel - Dunedin

The hosts were fantastic, welcoming us warmly even though we arrived late. The Baa Bar recommendation for a meal was outstanding. The room was super warm and had great blackout curtains.

The rooms were well-equipped with all the basic amenities you could need, and the prices were excellent for the facilities provided.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The heater was on before we arrived, making the room warm and welcoming. the staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. the location was perfect, being close to a great Thai and Turkish restaurant and within walking distance of many attractions. We loved the free parking available on site, which made our vacation even more convenient.

The only negative experience we had was that the tradesmen came into our room without warning and took longer than expected to complete their work. This was a bit frustrating, but the overall experience was still pleasant.

While the room was comfortable, it was a bit smaller than we expected and lacked some of the amenities we are used to. The Wi-Fi signal was spotty at times, which made it difficult to stay connected.

I chose Garden Motel because of its proximity to the Dunedin Botanic Garden and Otago Museum. I was thrilled to visit these two landmarks, and staying at this motel made it so convenient. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the laundry facilities and express check-out provided by Garden Motel. The Continental breakfast offered was also a delightful bonus.
